Education Framework

Exercising rights of audience in the criminal courts

CILEX Criminal Advocate Members are reporting that they have encountered issues when dealing with ancillary applications which may run parallel to criminal proceedings.

CILEx Regulation has put together guidance to help Chartered Legal Executive Litigator and Advocates (Criminal Proceedings) and Chartered Legal Executive Advocates (Criminal Proceedings) understand the scope of their authorisation to exercise rights of audience before the criminal courts.

Access the Exercising rights of audience or higher rights of audience in the criminal courts guidance document.
