The handbooks which accompany the CRL New Education Standards application pathway have been republished with updates to further assist applicants.
The handbooks support the nine Specialist Pathways of – Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Family Litigation, Probate, Immigration, Conveyancing, Employment, Business and General.
They contain updated guidance relating to the process applicants need to follow to gain authorisation as a Chartered Legal Executive with additional practice rights.
They also provide detailed information for applicants on the evidence required in their portfolio to demonstrate competence against the defined criteria.
Current applicants who are part way through the process, can continue their application using the previous version of the relevant handbook, or transition to the updated versions (published on 28 January 2025) stating on their application submission whether the new or previous version was used.
