Discussion highlights included:

- Transparency – we are committed to working as openly as possible with the regulated community, consumers, and others.

- Consumer Engagement – in line with our access to justice and consumer empowerment objectives, Tom Hayhoe from the Legal Services Consumer Panel, joined us to discuss consumer research and the role of regulators; the complex structures and need to revisit the 2007 Legal Services Act, plus the upcoming CRL roundtable event which will focus on unregulated legal service providers.
- Education – our work to reduce CPD non-compliance has shown positive results, we will continue to promote ongoing competence with a robust sampling exercise agreed for 2023/24.
