The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) and CILEx Regulation (CRL) have today published their joint consultation on proposals for the practising certificate fee for 2026.
This year we have again looked to keep cost increases to the absolute minimum with a proposed below inflation increase to CRL’s proportion of the PCF fee.
The consultation includes details of how the fee has been calculated, the fee distribution between CRL and CILEX, how fees will be used in 2026, plus a breakdown of how the 2025 practising has been used so far this year.
We would invite responses to be submitted by the deadline of 31 August 2025.
