WBL and QE assessment fee increase

From 1 March 2024, our assessment fees linked to admission as a chartered legal executive will increase. We acknowledge that these continue to be difficult times with the increased cost of living and rises in inflation, we therefore try to limit rises as far as possible.

The fees from 1 March 2024 will be as follows:

  • The fee you pay us to assess whether your work experience meets the criteria to be eligible to apply for Fellowship will increase from £85 to £89.
  • The assessment fee for work-based learning will increase from £320 to £336.

This represents an increase of 5% for each.

If you would like to become a chartered legal executive, your first step would be to apply to have your work experience considered. Following this, the second stage of a Fellowship assessment would be an assessment of your work-based learning portfolio evidence.

If you have any questions about the chartered legal executive application process, please contact us at: info@cilexregulation.org.uk and we’ll be pleased to help.
