Following the High Court Judgement in Mazur vs. Charles Russells Speechlys LLP, CRL has published interim guidance on the conduct of litigation and supervision.
This guidance sets out CRL’s view of the impact of the ruling on the conduct of litigation for Chartered Legal Executives, CILEX Practitioners, CRL Regulated Entities and CILEX members. The guidance has purposefully been published as interim, as it may be updated to take account of further court judgments and guidance published by other legal regulators.
In addition, CRL has also published related FAQs that answer some of the questions we have received from CILEX members in recent days. CILEX have also published FAQ’s as part of their message to members.
CRL’s Chairman, Jonathan Rees, has also blogged about the CRL Board’s perspectives on the judgement. We are also ensuring all of our web content is consistent with the judgement.
