Today, CILEx Regulation is publishing updated litigation and supervision guidance that takes account of the Court of Appeal judgment. The new guidance is intended for Chartered Legal Executives, CILEX Practitioners, CRL regulated entities and CILEX members. The guidance has been developed with input from CILEX and the SRA.

Regulatory guidance is broad by its nature and therefore, the new guidance does not cover every specific eventuality. We are working closely with CILEX to help answer some of the questions posed in their recent webinar. We are also consulting with entities to develop some further supervision case studies that will reflect real world experience. We will provide an update on the progress of both activities in due course.
