CLE and Probate Practice Rights joint application

Become an authorised Chartered Legal Executive AND Probate Practitioner using this single application

 

A combined work-based learning and practice rights application to become a Chartered Legal Executive and a Probate Practitioner. Please note you would need to complete the Qualifying Experience and satisfy requirements before proceeding to become a CLE. You may however continue to apply for Practice Rights if you have 5 years experience, 2 of which is within probate practice.

Application process

Check your eligibility using the Am I Ready tools:

If eligible, gather the documents from three-four case files. Then, identify the evidence you have from the Practice Rights Evidence Requirements

  • Use the Outcomes Matrix to meet both the WBL and Probate Outcomes
  • Use this to find the Guidance for the Outcome

Complete the Skills Logbook Sheet using the Outcome Guidance to meet the Outcome sufficiently

Complete three Experience Portfolios to demonstrate your knowledge and breadth of experience in Probate

  • Complete the Application Form
  • Email your: Application form, Experience Portfolios, Skills Logbook Sheets and Evidence, Employer Reference, QE Decision Letter or Application Form

  • We will raise an invoice for payment (£450) upon initial checks.
